マル勝スーパーファミコン (マルかつスーパーファミコン or Marukatsu Super Famicom, originally マル勝ファミコン or Marukatsu Famicom) was a bi-weekly game magazine published by Kadokawa Shoten from 1986 to 1997.[1] Its issue covers are distinguished by featuring its mascot, ルカ (the protagonist of 妖怪バスター ルカの大冒険, a Japanese reskin of The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates),[2] dressed in attire from a game covered in the issue.
Marukatsu was aimed at an elementary/middle school aged audience while Kadokawa Shoten's other concurrent publication, Game Walker, was aimed at an older audience.[3]
